Is Opal Index only for Australian opal?
It is designed around opal cutter workflows (parcels, stones, buckets), but the same model works for other gemstone lots you label and scan.
Do I need special hardware?
A phone camera is enough to scan. Optional Phomemo M220 printing uses a local Mac agent for owners who want thermal labels at the bench.
Can my team share one inventory?
Yes. Invite Managers and Clerks with role-based access so clerks can scan and update stock without seeing purchase prices.
