FAQ

Privacy, Free vs PRO, domains, archives, and common setup questions.

Is my inventory private?

Yes. Everything requires login. Customer tag pages are off by default and are a PRO feature — even then, prices and payment proofs never appear on public tags.

What does Free include?

15 active parcels, 40 QR scans per month, up to 2 label copies per print, and sales & basic ROI. CSV import, audit pack, and public pages need PRO.

How do I unlock PRO?

In the app: More → Tools → Billing. Apply a coupon code you were given, or pay with Stripe Checkout. Coupons unlock immediately; Stripe activates after Checkout.

Will my QR codes break if I change domains?

Printed labels encode your permanent domain. Set https://opalindex.com in Settings before printing stickers you will keep. Draft previews are fine for testing.

Can I delete a parcel?

No hard deletes. Archive instead so purchase history and ROI stay intact for tax and proof-of-purchase. Archived parcels appear under Inventory → Filter → Archived, and you can restore them anytime.

How do I reprint a label quickly?

Use Quick Print (More → Tools, or Workspace). Scan a QR or type a P / S / B ref — you stay on that page and print only for that code. Print times use Australia/Sydney. Extra unused placeholder labels with no scan after print are archived after 14 Sydney days; active stock that simply hasn’t moved is not archived.

What are stones vs parcels?

A parcel is what you bought (rough or cut lot), e.g. P-0001. Stones are individual pieces cut or bagged from that parcel, each with its own QR (S-####).

Why can’t I import CSV on Free?

Bulk import is a PRO feature. Free still lets you add parcels one-by-one or via Quick add stock within the 15-parcel limit.

I didn’t get a confirmation email

Check spam. On local/dev without Resend, the register screen shows a confirm link. In production, confirmation emails send automatically when mail is configured.

Home Screen app opens black on iPhone?

iOS caches the splash when you Add to Home Screen. Delete the icon, revisit in Safari, then Share → Add to Home Screen again so cream splash assets reload.

How do I print on a Phomemo M220?

Owner account only. Run the local print-agent on the Mac with the printer USB connected, quit Labelife, then use Print to M220 on a parcel, stone, or bucket — or More → Tools → M220 print agent.
