Import guide

PRO CSV import for parcels, stones, and locations — columns, mapping, and limits.

Requirements

  • PRO plan
  • Manager or Owner role (Clerks cannot import)

In-app: More → Tools → CSV import.

Kinds

  • Parcels — type, seller, date, price, weights, origin, notes, optional stone_count and location_ref
  • Stones — require an existing parcel_ref (P-####), plus cut details
  • Locations / buckets — name (required), size, notes

Wizard

  1. Upload a CSV (header row required).
  2. Map columns — Opal suggests aliases like seller → seller_name, carats → weight_carats.
  3. Preview validation, then commit.

Pricing columns are hidden from the mapping when your role cannot write prices. Free accounts see an upgrade prompt instead of the wizard.
